About the Role:

As an Assistant Manager within the Supply Chain Digital Automation team at Flipkart, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining AI-first, enterprise-grade web applications and solutions that accelerate and refine Flipkart’s supply chain network. In this highly collaborative and exploratory environment, you’ll work directly with design, product, tech, and operations teams. Your code and leadership will impact how e-commerce logistics is delivered across India, enhancing speed, efficiency, and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for full-stack web apps
• Own the entire SDLC for modules/features, from conception to scale
• Drive delivery and success metrics (reliability, accuracy) for developed products
• Lead code reviews and proactively collect feedback
• Collaborate across multiple stakeholders to turn concepts into robust products
• Build simple and easy-to-use UI/UX for field executives and operators
• Stay open to quick prototyping, rapid learning, and constructive iteration
• Occasionally travel and multitask across diverse requirements

Key Technical Skills:

Web Development, Python, Django, DBMS, SQL, React, Kubernetes, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, IoT

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
• 1–2 years’ experience in web development (front-end & back-end systems preferred)
• Proficiency in Java, Python, Go, or similar
• Good understanding of AI/ML concepts and system design principles
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Prior e-commerce exposure preferred
• Ability to build effective, easy-to-use interfaces
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn and travel as needed
